Is Artificial Intelligence a treat to you as a Copywriter? Find out how you can use Artificial intelligence and still remain relevant.
The possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI) is seen as endless.
It’s predicted that AI will soon have the ability to write articles, screen movies, and even drive cars on our behalf. But what about copywriting? Can AI be the next copywriter? I have spent the past few weeks doing some research and findings and I have come up with a few ideas for how AI will change the world of copywriting

Copywriting and AI
Today, the introduction of Artificial Intelligence in business can be broken down into three stages.
1. As the technology becomes more affordable and more capable, it’s increasing being used to help decision makers make important business decisions. A great example of this is in the area of financial services and marketing. If a credit card company was looking to create a new credit card, it would rely on an internal team to write the card. It would be a complex process, with a considerable amount of review and revisions to get it right. The process would take weeks and the quality would be questionable.
2. As the technology becomes more advanced, AI will be used to help decision makers make the right decisions more efficiently.
What will happen to copywriting?
Copywriting will become much more advanced. It is predicted this will happen within the next 10 years. In fact, there is already an Artificial Intelligence website where people can submit pieces of copywriting for the AI to then create a story that will be published.
This shows the increasing efficiency that AI can already offer copywriters. It is predicted that this will make their job easier and take less time, freeing up their time for other tasks.
Artificial Intelligence will now be able to read hundreds of pieces of copywriters. This means that the person writing the copy will have a more in depth knowledge of the industry than before.
The development of AI will most certainly have a huge impact on the way we write and read.
The future of copywriting
Artificial Intelligence (AI) can predict outcomes.
Prediction is one of the most impressive and powerful tools that AI has at its disposal.
Just think about how many of the answers you get when you type something into google will tell you not just what the answer is, but what the result is going to be. With just one click, you can get millions of statistics and research that will tell you how the whole situation plays out.
For example, if you type in “40% of male veterans with PTSD commit suicide,” you will be shown not just what the result is going to be, but what the percentage is going to be.
Artificial Intelligence will be able to predict outcomes by analyzing your behavior, past experiences, and writing style.
How Artificial Intelligence is changing the way we think about writing
Here are some key findings I’ve come up with on how AI will change the world of copywriting:
1. How Artificial Intelligence is going to change the way we think about creating content
The biggest strength that Artificial Intelligence can bring to the world of copywriting is that it allows writers to work at a faster pace. There’s less time wasted searching the web for ideas and it gives the writer the chance to come up with better ideas that were not actually possible with human writers.
For example, consider that current copywriters have to find a lot of articles or a lot of topics to write about. At the moment, the average person has an attention span of about eight seconds, which means that someone could be writing for minutes at a time if they are creative enough.
It may not be wise to talk to a machine but if it’s more efficient then it will be safe to communicate with the machine. But, just how easy can this really be? My research has suggested a few ways in which the AI might change the world of writing. But I have to say, I’m not optimistic about AI as a copywriter.
1. AI will not have the desire to make great copywriters
You can take writing classes but when it comes down to it, the desire to make a great copy is in your hands. People with the desire to create great copy will always be greater than the school.
2. You can only fake it so long
We’ve all done our fair share of phoney work. You have that one client who wants one thing but it ends up coming out all wrong.
